George Racine has a total of 29 years in the chemicals and polymers business and is currently the manager of Strategic Market Research for the ExxonMobil Chemical Company, located in Houston, Texas. He started his career with the Monsanto Chemical Company in Pensacola, Florida and held various technical positions before moving to the Specialty Elastomers Business of Monsanto, which later became Advanced Elastomer Systems, L.P. (AES).
In 1996, Mr. Racine moved to Automotive Sales Development for AES and in 1999 became the Automotive North American sales and marketing manager. In 2002, following the purchase of AES by ExxonMobil Chemical, he joined the Specialty Elastomers Business of ExxonMobil Chemical where he held various marketing and product management positions. He became the manager for Strategic Market Research for ExxonMobil Chemical in 2008.
Mr. Racine is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. degree in chemical engineering. He is a member of the Automotive Work Group of the American Chemistry Council, Plastics Division.
