Steven Patton is a Partner/Principal in the Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP and is the Performance Improvement practice leader in the MidWest.

He primarily focuses upon supply chain and operational processes within manufacturing clients, including industrial products, automotive, aerospace and defense and diversified manufacturing.

He also serves as the North American automotive industry leader for Advisory Services.

In addition to 17 years in consulting, Mr. Patton has previous experience at General Electric Aircraft Engines and Lockheed Space Operations Company.

Engagement experience:

Client partner for a Fortune 100 off-road commercial vehicle manufacturer, responsible for various Enterprise Cost Reduction efforts with a cumulative impact of over $100M, development of shared services center strategy and roadmap, and support of executive level strategic development and operational implementation.

Global client partner for a U.S.-based global automobile manufacturer, responsible for all services across functional domains of supply chain, sales and marketing, customer relationship management, consumer/retail integration, after market, diversified financial services, business services, finance, product development and manufacturing.

North America client partner for an automotive e-commerce (B2B) joint venture in the supply chain operations arena. Responsible for product design, business strategy development and IT strategy development, including development of product and service content across procurement, supply chain and product development domains. Advised executive team on matters of product/service strategy, launch approach and release management, organizational structure, revenue plans and fee structures, FTC approval process and deployment planning.

Engagement partner for a mobile telecommunications manufacturer responsible for development of supply chain improvement portfolio within the infrastructure group. Efforts included transportation assessment and improvement portfolio, transition planning from SAP to Oracle platforms, business process mapping and order to cash business case development.

Engagement partner for a U.S.-based global automobile manufacturer, responsible for all aspects of the order to delivery project, including development of current state analysis, business case development, future state vision, future state design, pilot planning and implementation. Functional scope included production forecasting, order management, scheduling, material release, allocations and distribution.

Social hours take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. A scramble golf tournament is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Your spouse or partner is welcome at all of the social hours. (Children are not permitted at the Monday - Wednesday social hours.)

The seminars are designed to foster a casual atmosphere for the informal exchange of ideas. Business casual is appropriate. Others wear more casual polo shirts and slacks.

These are informal events. Attire will vary from sport coats to polo shirts and slacks (for men) and from summer dresses and skirts to pants and shirts (for women).

Continental breakfast and lunch are included each day. Social hours are hosted Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings.

The first thing to do would be to find a colleague interested in replacing you. If your colleagues are already registered or unable to attend, please inform us in writing that you must cancel. To be eligible for a full refund of fees, notification of cancellation must be received in our office in writing by May 14, 2011. After this date, to be eligible for a refund of fees less the handling charge of $150.00 we must receive your request in writing before July 19, 2011. We regret that we cannot accept requests for refunds after that date.

The registration desk is located in the Governors Prefunction area. We recommend that you pick up your name badge and conference materials at early registration on Sunday, from 5-7 p.m. or on Tuesday from 3:30-7 p.m. The registration desk is also open during the conference sessions. A name badge is required to gain admittance to the sessions. Please note: badges will be distributed the day before or morning of the first day of your registration so you may attend the social hours included in your registration.
